CONNECTING CULTURES TO CHANGE LIVES

SCHOOL
PAINTING

Cultural Bridge outreach teams paint schools that cannot afford painting materials or painting services. Through this, we seek to involve members of the local community as we are aware, they know their needs best. Particularly we seek to engage with the parents of the students as well as teachers in this project.

CONSTRUCTION

Many members of the communities we work in build their houses using only accessible and local materials; such as coconut tree leaves, grass and mud. Here at Cultural Bridge we gladly assist in these building project as this is one of the most effective ways of building relationships with the community we hope to serve.

MEDICAL SERVICE

Currently Cultural Bridge joins the local medical clinics in taking care of the health problems many members of the community face. You can read about some of our previous involvement in our volunteers “TESTIMONIES”

TEACHING

Luckily most of our outreach team members have had experience as professional teachers. Cultural Bridge seeks to utilize such experience in all of our educational programs.

FEEDING PEOPLE

There is a big need of food in many of the communities around Kenya and in Africa generally. Cultural Bridge is committed to providing food for those in need, with a special focus on the students attending our educational programs.

SPONSORING
STUDENTS

Cultural Bridge organizes the processes necessary to provide sponsorship for children in need, for both students and non-students alike.

CLEANING

Many members of the community lack the understanding of the importance of cleanliness, or do not have the resources needed to maintain a healthy state of cleanliness. As a result, many different areas of their lives are negatively affected. Cultural Bridge not only teaches the importance of cleaning and cleanliness, but we are actively involved in every way possible to help create cleaner communities, homes and bodies.

DONATING
MATERIALS

Cultural Bridge collects materials from individuals and companies from around Switzerland and donates them during different outreach trips to Kenya. Materials includes books, pens, balls, clothes, toys, mobile phones, sporting goods, shoes and much more.

CHILDREN
PROGRAMMES

Cultural Bridge organizes fun events for kids. These events include things like face painting, games, learning new songs and much more. This allows us to know the children we seek to serve on a more personal basis while also having a good time.

SPORTS

Cultural Bridge organizes football tournaments amongst different teams in the community; this is something many outreach teams engage in. This allows us to build community connections and lifelong friendships as we partner with those in need.
